Laura Hamblin is like my second mother and was my poetry professor in college. these poems are striking, complex, and stick with you. Laura and her poems are one of the main reasons i write poetry or read it, altogether.

Hamblin is most magnificent with words ... amazing. The greatest writer I have known, truly. A marvelous collection of poems (and I don't use the word 'marvelous' very often) and a must read!
