To The Max is a fabulous read!

Darlene Gardner is a master in the art of keeping her reader immersed in her writing.
Great characterization, strong plot, great narrative.
Dialogue that gets right to the heart of who the character really is and shows how they think.

The character of Max Dolinger is so vividly portrayed he actually comes alive from the pages.
I would really like to read more about Max and Sara, as their relationship develops.

The novel has great pace, without any of the usual murders/
