Dana Delamar
An excellent (if sometimes dry) look at the dynamics that drive the Sicilian (aka Cosa Nostra) and Calabrian (aka the 'Ndrangheta) Mafias. Paoli thoroughly digs into the origins, the traditions, and the societal influences that led to the formation of these organizations and help to keep them alive and thriving. If you are interested in organized crime, particularly in the 'Ndrangheta, this book is an invaluable resource.
