OK so issues 1-4 = 5 Stars. 5-7 = 3 stars...ergo, 4 stars. (3.5 really, but I enjoyed the first half a fair bit)

This premise could have fallen on it's face and been played for laughs, but instead it focuses on the family, the bonds, the connection, and the reality of what can happen to anyone.

The FF goes broke, in the wake of the US gov't stopping all science funding to the Baxter Building, and on top of that, one of their accountants stole their savings (also Tony Stark, Hammerhead, and some o

Reality caught up with Fantastic Four with financial troubles? A bit of a stupid sounding idea, but it seems to be working. Not forgetting scary space monsters either.
Not too bad, looking forward the next arc.

Really quality superhero stuff. I've never been into the FF before so i don't know how this stacks up against the usual Fantastic Fare, but I appreciated this book a lot for the interactions between the characters, for their clarity and humanity, for the humor shot throughout, and because it was a superhero comic with almost zero superheroism -- just a unique and gifted family struggling to keep it all together. A fun read.

Very, very good. Like with just about every superhero comic, the important parts here aren't any big fights with villains - what matters are the characters and their relationships, and I've really come to love this particular family.

More like 3.5 stars as the art wasn't quite to my taste, but the story is solid. I love reading about a family of superheroes dealing with stuff like bankruptcy together.

This good volume tells interesting stories well, with solid writing matching visually attractive art.
