Extraño personaje este Robert Graves. No es ya que escribiera más de un centenar de libros (algunos de ellos instalados en la posteridad, como Yo, Claudio o Los mitos griegos) o que acabara pasando su vida en la pequeña población mallorquina de Deià (salvo un paréntesis durante la guerra civil). Tampoco su vida personal, con sus mujeres y sus innumerables hijos. Era un poco todo. Todo ese poeta (como al él le hubiera gustado ser considerado) del que recordamos

Conversations and interviews ranging from 1920 until 1975, covering poetry, prose and, of course, the White Goddess. Interesting, though Graves' own essays in various collections cover a lot of the same material and make some of his theories sound a little more rational. The editor found some intriguing material but would recommend that people read a lot of Graves first.
