Painting the Desert is a powerful story of three men in an established relationship and their trials when Grey gets cancer. It is a story of love and commitment and standing by each other when the way is hard.
The ending is delightful. I do wish readers were given more assurance that they will have a long time together.

Wow, far more plot than I’m used to for one of this author’s books, and a very poignant storyline to boot. It’s been a while since I read the first book in this series, but it didn’t take long for me to re-establish how much I enjoyed the dynamic among these three. The twins have an almost palpable connection, and of course, Whit is their center.
