Whit met twins Raine and Grey Holstein by chance and became the center of their life by choice. The story is an exploration of the melding and evolution of these three lives, a sensual journey into love Sean Michael style.
This is a great book. In some ways it reminded me of Jarheads, from the couch to the bathroom to the bed to the bear skin rug… LOL However, the mood that Sean Michael created in this story is very different. Everything has a very tender, romantic, sensual quality. It’s fantast...more

A wonderful romantic story. I find it a comfortable story that I can just get lost into. It is mostly sex {including fisting and twincest} but there is a story weaved in with the sex a long with some delightful descriptions. I've read the story 3 times and enjoyed it each time. I wished their second argument had been better resolved... more talking before the sex. The preface was sad, for me, due to Raine's other lovers and what one causes him to do. This isn't gone into in graphic detail and is...more
Sean Michael decides to do what this author do best aka stop the plot and added the hot sex scene on every page of the book. Yes, plot should be screwed hard and in this book it is for good. Grey and Raine Holstein were twins who did everything together from childhood, yes eating, sleeping and having sex included. They were inseparable, they tried it, but failed. They were not able to be without each other, until they added new man to their household. Yes, the most natural thing is for incestuou...more
I generally like Sean Michael's books, and I didn't dislike this one. I just didn't enjoy it as much as his other works. I went into it expecting more sex than plot, and that's definitely what I got. However, usually there's something about the bits of plot between the sex that really endear his characters to me. That really didn't happen this time. The twins were sexy, two halves of one whole, etc. Whit was a good guy, but none of their interactions had that emotional tug for me. Also, (and thi...more
Definitely one of Sean Michael's earlier novels, the kind I am partial to and enjoy.
Grey and Raine match so well - and they should, being twins - but their bond is stronger and formed in a different way than a lot of twin novels state. They don't just live together, they cannot live apart. They compliment each other in ways that seem odd to the outsider [Grey "sleeps" for Raine; while Raine only sleeps 4 or so hrs a night, Grey on the other hand has to have 8 or so and then has to nap during the...more

Um, I never compare books - but this one was SO similar to Chris Owen's Gemini that I HAD to put this down.
From the twins (duh) to the matching jewelry that was gifted, from the personalities to the arousing hair brushing. I just couldn't look past the similarities. This might be one of the books that would go to my DNF list.

Bland and boring. The sex scenes concentrated on visuals and lacked emotions. "A's hand goes there and B's mouths there, their skins soft, their hair shining,..." and everything is 'beautiful' and perfect. As if I was reading about some ballet dancing not hot, passionate sex. After 50 pages I decided not to waste my time any more.

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours...more
