Careers quite often take over people’s lives, especially when people are ambitious, or when the work they do is fun. In the case of rock musicians and celebrities the situation is worse, because not only do they work all the time, they also have to face paparazzi and other intrusions into what little personal life they have left. This is the case for Drake, a man who is losing himself, exhausted, and in dire need of a break. I loved following his return to a somewhat more normal life and the dis ...more

In this book we have Drake, a popular singer with a career that has slowly taken over his life. He is exhausted, lonely, and has never readily admitted to anyone that men were his thing. As he reaches his wits end, he gets a letter from an old friend named Scott, inviting him to spend some time at his place. It is located in the country and frankly in the middle of nowhere. Drake is sold. He cuts off all contact having to do with his singing career and runs for the hills. Sc

I just love Sean Michael's characters, they feel real to me and always fun to get to know. This story was sweet, loving and holy hot as hell. Drake is a sexy as hell musician who has had enough of lonely nights and not being who he truly is. Scotty is sweet, talented and sexy and has loved Drake for many years. I love how Scotty reached out to Drake knowing his friend was struggling and Drake left that minute he got the letter, these guys are great friends and even better lovers. Sexy, sweet and ...more

You think that to be rich and famous is equal to be happy? For Drake no. He is a famous song writer and singer, but in the last years his job doesn' satisfy him like in the past. He writes less and every bit of his life are on the media. He was married but his marriage goes wrong cause two weeks after he admitted to his wife that he is gay. But only to his wife. Nobody else knows nothing. He never have had a male partner.

Then he receives a letter from a former high schoolmate, Scotty. Scotty on

2.5 rounded up. Huge jumps in time caused this to seem like inst-luv. There wasn't much that happened, just two old friends reconnecting at the right moment & bam love, dogs & Christmas....

I read the new addition from Amber Quill. This is the story of a man who needs to get away and finds so much more in an old time friends. I loved watching the two of them connect.

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours ...more
