When Robbie's father dies and he agrees to leave Baltimore for a backwoods farm in Alabama he's counting on a lot of things. A funeral. Problems with his brother Russ. A lot of time spent in the closet. What he doesn't count on is the new farm hand, Seth. The handsome Texan has him drooling from the moment they meet, and has him well in hand not long after. I must say that for a 25 page short story it was very impactful... Every single character made a large impression on me and really brought a lot of soul into the story. Now to the flip side of that was we get tastes and glimpses of these extremely well developed characters then. ...its over! Seth is a cowboy we know nothing about except that he falls in love with Robbie in one day and is ready to give up everything( his word..but since he was the one character we didn't explore idk what that "ev ...more
Robbie Sexton is a tattoo artist that is having trouble finding work in the city and upon hearing about the death of his emotionally distant father, he decides to move home to Alabama.

While this is a shorter story (25 pages) it packs a punch, both figuratively and literally. Robbie arrives in Alabama the day before his father’s funeral and in the span of a few hours, he’s had a fight with his brother, a sexual encounter with a smoking hot cowboy, and come out to all family and friends, most espe
Robbie's father has passed away, and now he is expected to return home for the funeral. Only his money-sucking, lazy brother will be there - likely with his hand out. But, something good is also waiting for him there. Seth is one fine looking man, could he be the one to sooth Robbie's heart? This story was good, with some hot sex, but it ended a little abruptly. Of course, our couple ends up together (it is romance!), but the discord between Robbie and his brother is not even close to resolved. ...more

A short story, over a short elapsed time, pacy low angst read.
Robbie has to return home to Alabama - for his fathers funeral and for a job. He is instantly attracted to hunky cowboy Seth (who did sound rather yum!).
The story is about their initial meetings - surely those hay bales must have been itchy! - and ends really at the start of a relationship and acceptance of Robbie by his mum.
Light, quick, sexy, easy read.
Bit odd having sex at yours Father's wake!

What do online gaming, Spongebob, cooking, writing, and an unnatural addiction to Mountain Dew all have in common?

Not a damn thing, which is what makes Mychael Black an interesting bird indeed.

Born in north Alabama, Mychael now resides in north Mississippi. Having run the gamut of labels in regard to gender and sexuality, Mychael now shuns society’s views on normality and embraces a
