This book contains 23 pages of great picture puzzles, and items to find and solve. The books in this series are a family favorite. My children love looking through the pictures and finding the items in question, or solving the puzzles. Wick, the co-creator of the I Spy books, has a knack for visual narrative. In this book, he retells the tale of In A Dark Dark Wood, across 12 picture narratives with one picture zoomed into 8 times its original size for details. He begins with a castle on a hill...more
My Review
Can you see what I see? A scary skull, a moon, and stairs- there's spooky fun for one who dares!
My favorite pages are.... On A scary scary night and in a scary scary castle.
I loved the book because you can find really cool, creepy things. The reason I find this book so interesting for all ages though, is that the author makes his own models of the pictures, movie sets actually. That said the illustrations out do the I Spy ones. I think when Sean is...more

Wick Walter was having an art display at the BYU art museum in the summer of 2009. I took my kids there to show them his work and my middle child was fascinated with the pictures and mock ups. So we got him this book for his birthday. He loved it! Even though I am an adult, I too enjoyed going through looking for hidden objects.
