This book is very thorough in sharing the whole story of the Apollo mission, from Apollo 1 to Apollo 18 but for an early reader to read on his own. The photographs are terrific. This isn't a "living book" but nonetheless it filled my son's need to learn many of the interesting details about the Apollo project and the "Space Race". The next day after reading we went to the Air and Space Museum and he started showing dh and I all the information he learned from this book. I'd say it's a must read: ...more
