So far so good...however it was written a while ago...so updates may apply...we'll see when I'm done.

Suarez is an expert in pistol tactics, but primarily in the realm of police work. As such, his advice, tactics, and training methods are excellent, but may not always be best suited for the armed civilian, who may have greater opportunity to a) surprise their attacker and b) escape. Suarez covers everything from the draw through taking the shot and reloading, as well as clearing malfunctions. He spends no time discussing legal issues, and little on firearm/ammunition selection.

Good review of the basics. The breakdown of the drills for dry & live fire practice was most valuable.
