The main part of the book is outstanding dealing with the gospel and the things that led up to the gospel from the Old Testament. There is one section at the end of the book entitled 'Things that took place after the Foundation of the World. Here he refers to G. H. Pember of whom I disagree with. He tries to introduce a Pre-Adamic race where sin came from. So John Phillips is promoting the gap theory which I strongly disagree with because of Romans 5:12. Dr. John Phillips was born in Britain. He served in the British Army in Palestine where he saw many of the events which led to the birth of the State of Israel.
