This may be my favorite book of all time. The characters are so quirky and charismatic that one can't help but love them. I found myself relating to the main character, Heather, so it was like reading a book about myself. This book offered great wisdom, and I sometimes find myself referencing the book for it's wise words.
I would lovelovelove for a sequel to this book to see where the story and lives of Heather and her friends continue to go.

This is the third book in the series about a small town called Pritchett. I originally grabbed the first book, Front Porch Princess, to read for a school assignment, not expecting much other than a quick read. I was pleasantly surprised! I fell in love with the characters and actually found some great wisdom admist the humor and love stories. I really enjoy Kathryn Springer's writing style. She made me laugh and cry and I didn't want to put this book down! If you want a great book about faith an...more

Never really got involved with this book, never though the protagonist female or male were that awesome or engaging. It was a clean read, just not a very interesting one.

This is the 3rd in a series about a small town called Pritchett and the residents of this town.

This story focuses on Heather, the daughter to Bernice and Alex, although she didn't find this out until the 2nd book (I think, maybe the 1st). Bernice and Alex have finally gotten married and left on a 2 month honeymoon through Europe. Heather, having her cosmotology license, takes over running the Cut and Curl for Bernice and really gets involved in small town life.

Along the way she meets 2 guys, i...more

Love the small town of Prichett. Great example of how it's now what we do as long as we do it with God in mind.

Favorite quote: Which made me suddenly wonder if moms had a list for their daughter's future husband, too.

This is one of the most enjoyable Christian chick lit novels I've read in a long time. I didn't realize it was part of a series; it stands on its own. Fun and entertaining, but with some good thoughts to mull over.
