I read this book because it was written by my friend. I had no idea how horrific her experiences in the military were. It was an eye-opener that made me cringe at times. It kept my interest and left me hanging for book two, but I'm told this was a light read compared to the second book (soon to be published), so I don't know if I'm up for reading it!
