Silent Hill-esque, confusing and addictive. You never know what the next chapter will bring.
I'll openly admit I was hesitant to go to bed after finishing Catharsis.
Intriguing story-line, with interesting characters and a twist that I never saw coming.
One word of warning: you may be left with more questions at the end than you had at the beginning.

The other day at Bitten By Books there was a post featuring some free e-books that you could download from various authors. One of the authors was Skyla Dawn Cameron, with Catharsis and Children of the Apocalypse. There were two Children of the Apocalypse novels, both of which I downloaded, and Catharsis which I also downloaded.
Well, last night I read Catharsis in its entirety. In one sitting. All 170 pages of it. I could not pull myself away from this story. I started it just after 1a More...

When I started looking for an online novel to read, I had no expectations whatsoever and just wanted to spend a morning doing some light reading. Then… I simply could not stop reading this book. Did nothing that day but read from morning till night (actually, morning the next day). From Eve's search for Dez, to budding romances, this will definitely make you go 'omg, this is fantastic!'
The so-called happy ending was just a little disappointing though. I’m a sucker for ‘perfect’ endin More...

If you're looking for a novel that always leaves you guessing, I recommend Catharsis.
Catharsis tells the story of Eve and her friends, who have been gifted with supernatural powers. They go on the run with Eve's younger sister, Dez because some of the other telepaths have gone missing.
And after an accident Eve finds her sister missing and the hunt begins for her.
Cartharsis has plenty of twists and turns and explains the nature of how people can truly see reality.

I will definitely be following this author. The book was gripping, could not put it down until I finished it. I thoroughly enjoyed the rich characters, plot all of it really. Catharsis was not what I expected. It was better. I was dumbfounded by the ending. I did not see it comming.

Creepy, and suspenseful... main character over reacted into dramatic screaming fits a bit more often than likable... loved the twist at the end

I have no freaking idea about what I'm suppose to think of this story. It was just kinda weird, but still good and twisting all the way though

Catharsis is a Greek word meaning "purification", "cleansing" or "clarification." (thank you Wikipedia) I had no idea of this word until I read this. This story alone has made me a Skyla Cameron fan. It was wonderfully imaginative and so unpredictable. It was in a word Awesome!!!
Now that I've read it a second time (I tend to do that with books I like) I can say I have not changed my mind. Even knowing how the story would end I picked up on so many More...
