"Shakin’s story, satiric as it is also oddly moving, snipes at various well deserving targets, including NYU, apparently accepting only film students, “all other departments closed since word got out that there’s no future in any career other than media and living off Daddy.” Yes, scenes tend to go over the top, the plot strains at times and sputters and the schtick sometimes seems set up. Eh, parts of this book were intriguing.

But it was far out-weighed by the parts that were completely unbelievable. And just as I would start to care for "grandma" or start to get some insight into her character, the book would stutter into something utterly off.

Written by someone who doesn't understand women. Doesn't understand aging either.

Not wholly unlikable, but pretty close.
Totally sucked and was very sarcastic; as well as , nasty. Had it for review, definatly not mu cuppa!
