Louise (A Strong Belief in Wicker)
I'm always interested in a new Gary Crew book to read, this one was a bit more odd. Our narrator is a young girl, Audrey. She designs a boat, which she builds with her brother, and his friend. They christen the boat Audrey, and set off down the creek. They find some unusual things. Strangely enough, little is made of rainbows, despite their titular prominence. Neither I nor my 9 year old who I read it with understood what it was all about.
