That Doyle Brunson, possibly the greatest poker player ever, has an amazing memory should come as no surprise. The fact that he seems able to remember the exact cards played in games that took place, in some cases, over fifty years ago is staggering. That these hands are so extraordinary makes this book rather useless as a primer, but also makes it extraordinarily entertaining. Very charming and fun.

Fun read, Doyle takes you back to the dusty roads of West Texas and beyond for a look at his 50 most memorable poker hands. This man has been everywhere, done everything and seen things in the poker world that most of us today can't imagine. This is a great book for anyone new to the game of poker who wants to catch a glimpse of poker's yesteryears.
