A little girl builds award-winning sand castles.

The little girls and boys in the story build fun and interesting sandcastles. The writing is only on every other page and is formatted in short sentences, making this book easy to read for beginning readers. The last page of the book has a list of vocabulary words that a teacher may wish to use with her class. The book seems to be a little too focused on winning, but in the end Sandbox Betty offers to show others how to build the best sandcastles,
