I went into this book (or journey) rather sceptical about liking it purely based upon the notion that it appeared to be not one of my favourite genres, a romance, a girly romance novel! Although I started it with intrigue into what makes this successful genre tick. What I came out with at the other end was something quite different, surprising and I’m pleased I persevered with the beginnings, as it starts pretty much how I’d expected, boy meets girl and have an affair which becomes obsessive.

This book is a true story of the author Amanda Bucan and she portrays the concept of Love Beyond Death in a very interesting way. The book narrates the chain of events which happen in over a span of 14 years and which Amanda experienced.

The best thing about this book is, it can't be categorized into any particular genre. The book starts as a love story and takes a turn as paranormal activities starts taking place and as the story progresses the book gets converted to spirituality. Amanda has do

Star crossed lovers who apparently cannot be together in this life, wind up punishing one another for their choices. Decades later, when one dies the other fancies that she’s having a close encounter with a ghost. That is just the beginning of a very compellingly written self described memoir. Unfortunately as a reader I think my mindset is too modern and too pragmatic to appreciate this creatively embellished story. I did not connect with Amanda, the young woman whose entire life is tainted by ...more

I wrote it so obviously I think it`s good! It took 14 years to fully complete, off and on and I really think it`s a must read for anyone interested in the subject of reincarnation or life after death. ...more

I found myself drawn into this book by the characters of Amanda and Simon.
It was fascinating to see it grow from a teenage romance to something more.
My mind was awakened to so many possibilities which I had never thought of before.
It is interesting and emotional how you are given clear signs of something supernatural and spiritual that has happened between
lovers that transends time and past lives.
Truly a read that will grip your imagination and make you think what
else is out there for all of us.

A love story that transends past lives. It amazes me how two people can be so much in love, even after death. An inspring read.

I was born in Northamptonshire in the swinging sixties; December 1964 to be precise.

I was a bit of a loner as a child for obvious reasons stated in the book, and as I hated school with a passion I left at sixteen with only a few CSE`s, to my name destined to spend the rest of my life lurching from one uninspiring job to another with no real direction and certainly no ambition.
