Blackjack dealer Rae likes quickie encounters with faceless women. Massage therapist Cori comes to Vegas looking for a meaningless fling. These two get together and find more than they bargained for--an emotional connection that leads to heartache when they part ways.

Maybe it’s a personal preference for longer books, but I thought there was too much sex and too little character development. It’s part of Bold Strokes Book’s Matinee romances, and I’m learning to avoid them since they don’t have enough “substance” for my liking.
