I really liked this book because I want to start hockey. It has to do with a professional hockey player. It starts out how he began hockey and how Mario Lemieux started to get good.
The part I like about this book is when most of the coaches wanted Lemieux. So he decided to go with the Pittsburgh penguins. He also increased his average scoring score and assist higher because he was getting so good at hockey.
The part I didn't like is when the coach yelled at him because he got four penalties in

Shelves: biography
This book was written in 1992, so it misses some of the more dramatic seasons the Penguins went through as well as the physical turmoil that Mario experienced. It's a very basic book for those with no prior knowledge of this great player.
