This was a really great collection of Anatole France short stories. They were kinda like the Goddess of ghosts would have been if it wasn't written by search a die hard Christian evangelist. The stories here were very nice, mostly historical. Unfortunately I read it quite a few months ago and now can't remember all the details except that I liked them. This is one of the few books in French that I've read in translation. Hopefully in a couple years I'll be up to reading Anatole France in the ori...more
