i'm being uncharitable because i long to pause on beauty when i read poetry. i read this in the summer sitting on a breeze block in a field claimed by white butterflies, and it felt like picking needles from my soles in the best possible way. the clarity and measure of his phrasing chimes, the words are serrated.

He is best known as the exponent of the Theatre of Catastrophe. He is a theatre theorist, a poet and a painter.
