Classic Fairy Tales
by
Scott Gustafson (Goodreads Author)
This exquisitely illustrated, large format gift book features ten of the most enduring fairy tales of all time. The stories, chosen and edited by the artist, are a balance of 'princess' classics and frolicking adventure tales.

I cannot write highly enough about Scott Gustafson. Not only is he one of the greatest artists of our generation, but he is also a really kind and considerate man. Another great book by Scott Gustafson. I got this for mother's day since I enjoyed his Nursery Rhymes so much, and the illustrations are also fantastic in this book. I find that many of the stories are too old for my 1 1/2 year old though (too many evil step mothers, poison apples, witches who want to eat you, etc.) but she really enjoys the edited versions I give her. :)
Scott Gustafson is an amazing artist. I love is work and was thrilled to find out that he had put it all into a book. These are the kind of illustrations that make the stories come to life! Everyone needs this in their home library for their children!
This is a good antidote to the Disney versions of fairy tales. Good pictures and good retellings of the tales. The stories are boiled down to their simplest, so this is good for the 8 and under crowd.
Awesome, charming illustrations. Even if you don't want to go through the text, the pictures are absolutely worth your time.
The illustrations in this book are amazing. Definitely worth reading, if not just to simply absorb the artwork.
OH MY GOODNESS! What a great book! Scott Gustafson is brilliant.
