I say this book is fiction and non-fiction for a reason. Treatise is fiction because the characters are not real people, but in the same sense of reality they are real people. I worked the warehouses in Youngstown and made some jokes about the Canfield richies while I dropped my sweat on boxes to be sent out to people who could buy and sell me without and batting their eyes in a wonder of who they are in life. One could say that this book legitimately contributed to a moderate changing of my "world view".
