A simple direct-to-the point inspirational book. When I am down, I usually pick up this book and read in 2 minutes and I am up again. I got this book from Booksale and it stays in the eye-level shelf so I can pick it up whenever I feel like reading it. One line that I like most is "When there is love, there is music and dancing... I hope you dance."
This was given to me years ago as a gift. It's a very short inspirational "pick me up" style book with few words and a lot of pictures to evoke emotion. It has a few good lines in it alluding to not letting failed loves make you bitter nor giving up on your dreams and being grateful for even setbacks.

This can easily be one of my favorites and I can give you a very simple reason why: this was given to me by my crush several months ago. This book is inspirational indeed and can easily lift up my spirits (if I have any). Oh how funny to have a book given by someone you admire. This book doesn't only possess words that can give me back the hopeful 'me' but it says something else as well: You received me from him. Now you must put into actions what he wants you to.

OK. This is called the adolescen

Generally I am of the opinion that country music is an oxy moron. However, I admit to liking the song, I Hope You Dance. This book is simply the lyrics to the songs along with some Hallmark-card type photos and an accompanying CD.

I Hope You Dance is a book of hope, encouragement, and inspiration. Now, the authors of the book and the song offer this wonderful and whimsical take on the "grown up" message of the book. I Hope You Dance for children is witty and fun, warm and fuzzy, wild and fanciful. For the kid in your life, here's the opportunity to say:
I hope you dance!
Stir it up, baby, make a splash
do the shag and the monster mash
the cotton eyed joe and the hokey pokey
if you ain't got rhythm that's okey dokey
don't lay in

I liked "I Hope You Can Dance" , by Lee Ann Walmack because the way the book is wrtitten so soft that i almost can touch the photos in my mind. My favorite verse is the one that says,"I hope you still fell small beside the ocean." That verse really spock to me. I would recommend this book to adults whos children are of on their own. this song will really confert you. I almost fell asleep it was so conferting. And that was only the half of it

Lee Ann Walmack is a very soft and sensitive person [w

I originally received this book from my parents on valentines day a couple of years ago. I read it then and I read it known and both times the book is still inspiring. This book is great, it gives different ideas of how to hope. And do never lose site of hope. But the book I think kind of encourages you not to give up and to always try your best. And not to give up on your dreams or desires. I enjoyed it very much and "hope" I that I will read it again in the near future.

As a dancer, this book means even more to me than if I wasn't one, however it speaks to everyone. Personally, it reminds me to never stop dancing or to stop chasing my dreams. It was the perfect gift and it will always be the best pick-me up for when I'm feeling down. I've spent hours dancing to the cd included with the book and I always feel inspired when I do that. The book was beautifully done and the pictures capture the song wonderfully.

When this song came out, my step-mother bought a CD of it for my daughter. It's a beautiful sentiment. At the time this book was sent to me as a Bookcrossing 'RABCK', I was struggling with some issues in my life and the message helped cheer and remind me that life is a beautiful gift.

I am not a fan of the song itself, but the lyrics and the contents of the book is inspiring. I bought it when I was still a college student, and would reread it every year or so. It's one of those books that give your soul a quick reminder to breathe.

My mother gave me this book and so for that reason I like it. Beyond that, it is a book that takes the lyrics to Lee Ann Womack's hit song "I Hope You Dance" and expands on the idea of living life to the fullest. It also has a CD of the song.
