I feel like Bodsky as a voice that is distinctly hers. She writes novels that are emotional...mixing all the emotions together in a wonderful cocktail which entices the reader to drink in her stories. I think I felt a bit of everything while reading ON FIRE. I felt like it was a beautiful story of finding one's self and making so much more of yourself than ever dreamed possible. This book was a little juvenile for me, mainly because it's about a girl who is in the start of her career as a writer but it was fun. I remember what it was like to start my first "real" job with no clue as to what I was supposed to do. The author captured the main characters spirit with all of her quirks and foibles and mader her really accessible and funny. I'm all about fun. It was an easy read - about 2 days.
