I've read a lot of leadership books but this is the only one I've ever read that was SEXY. In fact, at 87 pages it was less like a book then a fantasy transcript of the best date ever, the kind where you stay up all night talking philosophy and politics until you are completely intoxicated with ideas. I first read this book when it was originally published in 1991 and it still remains one of my top 5-10 books of all time. I've probably re-read the book a dozen times. This book is less than 90 pages with large print and can easily be read in a day. It contains a terrific overview of authentic and powerful leadership.

Sharif introduces some powerful concepts along the way such as mega-crisis and our general failure to solve them through available means. Accordingly, we need leadership to move us

This book was originally published in 1991. I just read it and felt it still has great relevance. I am going to look for other, more recently written, books by this author.
