This game has some very interesting mechanics, quite different to your typical stats of D&D or other role-playing games. They fit the theme of Indiana Jones quite well. One example are the rules for conducting car chases which really emulate the flavour of the movies.

In practice, some things may feel a bit too complex at first but I'm sure you'd get the hang of it. I haven't played a game - I've just read through the rules and the introductory adventure. It's a bit of a lead-you-by-the-nose
