My Dear Sisters: Inspiration for Women from Gordon B. Hinckley
"There has come to you as your birthright something beautiful and sacred and divine. Never forget that. Your Eternal Father is the great Master of the universe. He rules over all, but He also will listen to your prayers as His daughter and hear you as you speak with Him. . . . He will not leave you alone."

My mom gave me a copy for Mothers' Day
What an encouraging and uplifting book. Gordon B. Hinckley has always publically expressed his awe for and appreciation of women and this book puts his words to beautiful art.
'Woman is God's supreme cretion. Only after the earth had been formed, after the day had been separated from the night, after the waters had been divided from the land, after vegetation and animal life had been reated, and after man had been placed on the earth, was woman created; and only then was the work pronounced comp...more

Another great Sunday afternoon read. I always loved how President Hinckley encouraged the sisters of the Church. On page one is a quote that I remember hearing President Hinckley say in General Conference. I loved hearing it then and I loved reading it again today.
Without you, our Father's plan of happiness would be frustrated and have no real meaning.

I read this book periodically. This collection of beautiful quotes and pictures is truly inspiring and shows how much President Hinckley had a deep love and admiration for women. I bought this book for my mom, sisters, and girlfriends for mothers day, although some are not LDS, I felt that they could still appreciate this book and KNOW how important they are in their roles as women; daughters, sisters, mothers, friends, etc. I highly recommend this book to all women, and not just LDS women. This is an inspiring little book filled with quotations from Gordon and Marjorie Hinckley. What makes it really special, though, is that each quote is paired with a beautiful painting from a contemporary LDS artist. Together the artwork and the text reinforce that Heavenly Father loves his daughters, and that we (amidst our busyness in being wives, mothers, and learners in the world) are doing an important work in moving forward the kingdom.
This was a sweet inspirational book, full of beautiful artwork and uplifting encouraging words for women. As I read I was reminded of how wonderful it is to be a daughter of God and the great responsibility I have in building His kingdom here on earth. It made me want to try harder and be a better daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend. Thanks Mom!

An inspiring book that reaffirms the love and respect President Gordon B. Hinckley has for women. His expressions of love and council are coupled with beautiful artist rendidtions. A heartwarming book.
As always President Hinckley's love, compassion and understanding just jumped off the pages to support, encourage and boost up the women who read this book. Marjory Pay Hinckley also contributed and fast confirmed to me that she was a woman that just knew who she was, what her purpose was and knew her place in the life and heart of our Father in Heaven. Every woman, mother and female NEEDS to read this book.
I loved President Hinkley and adored sister Hinkley. They were such a wonderful examples to me of what it was to be faithful, service-oriented, and generous with their love. I enjoyed this beautiful quick read. I never tire of hearing their pearls of wisdom, no matter how often I hear those same words, over and over again. A wonderful VT gift or thoughtful gift to a friend. I highly recommend it.
This little book was like an inspirational picture book for women. It had artwork on one page, and a quote by LDS President Hinckley on the opposite page. I enjoyed it, but my artistic daughter was not impressed by the quality of most of the paintings. I didn't entirely agree with her, but it was a very romantic looking book. I enjoyed reading it, and found a lot of inspiration in the quotes, but I wouldn't buy it.
Fantastic!! Leaves you with such a sweet spirit in your heart and soul. I loved the powerful quotes from a prophet of God. You can truly tell just how much President Hinckley loved the women of the church. The artwork was also so beautiful and inspiring. I read it in less than a half hour but I know that I will keep it close to re-read often.

I loved this book to for women. President Hinckley gave such uplifting expression of love and counsel for women. The art work was so beautiful. I like how he even put select quotes from his wife into the book. So small and so powerful.

President Hinckley was known, even at the age of 95, as a tireless leader who always put in a full day at the office and traveled extensively around the world to mix with Church members, now numbering nearly 13 million in 171 nations.
