I give this an OK (2 stars) simply because I appreciate any effort to push this genre (graphic novels) into a new theme like Christian fiction. Otherwise I would not have rated the work that high. I bought the book as a part of my research for my own book Christal Knight. I am working on a graphic project of my own. Super religious backdrop. Author frequently mentions characters religious ferver. This is a point of contention between the pilot and his (zealot?) wife. All she wants to do is talk about Jesus' love and forgivness. Given his fantiasies about the pretty flight attentdent, the pilot would is looking for something else from their relationship.

There's also a subplot of a miracle in Isreal. An Isreali scientist creates an elixir that fertalizes the desert, making it fertile enough to grow anything.
"He told me of a group he was forming within the congregation. A group that would fight against the Antichrist, almost like a Green Beret team...a group called the Tribulation Force" – Book 1; V. 5

So, I got through Book 1, volumes 1 to 5 - with a lot of skipping.

The writing is terrible and the illustration work is mediocre.

This is crap. Not good crap; so bad it's fun to read crap either - just plain-old, humorless, boring, painfully awkward crap.

Just finished the first three books.
Pretty good, though they are a far throw from the originall novels.
