I always disliked non-rhyming poems. However, this book made my mind travel away from my soul, the soul who always dislikes the non-rhyming poems. Almost every poem made me smile after I finished it. I normally don't read much poetry because sometimes it's hard to figure out what the author is trying to say. Although, I've been trying to read more poetry lately. This book was easy to understand and I felt alot of poems I loved for one reason or another. Sometimes it's just what you can relate to and other times it maybe the time period you're in at the moment of your life.

I won this book from GoodReads. I'm about halfway through and am really enjoying it. I've always loved poetry, but some poets you really have to slog through to get what is being said, if you can ever understand. Amal Saleh's book is deep, it makes you think, but is easily understandable. So far my favorite poems are "Why Should I Read" and "Dear Friend." This is one book I will go back and reread my favorites over and over. Thank you Amal.

Poetry Eyes was superb in the way you formatted and the layout was unique. I really liked "Poetry Eyes" and "Perfect" and "If I Was A Peacock Feather". Simply, I liked the whole book! It was put together creatively, and I would recomend this book to everyone who likes poetry, it is a must read! And, this is a book I will pick up and read over and over again. I really loved the poems in this book,
....Huge as mountains raise me and drop me.. the moment I think I am hitting the ground I find myself touching a cloud.
The passage above from "Among the Waves perfectly describes how I feel about this book.
