This one starts off with a bang, literally, and kept up a pretty bruising pace throughout. Liked the setting of Glasgow and the sharp-edged protagonist. If I have a complaint it would be the constant "I trust him/her" "they've betrayed me" nature of the relationship of the protagonist and the guy helping her investigate. There were a few too many misunderstandings big and small. But I'd definitely pick up another book by the author.

Interesting first novel that falls flat by the end. The herione is unlikable at the start and the ending drags on well after you've figured out the main twist. Decent, but not outstanding.
