The book itself is a work of art, with high quality paper and illustrations that bleed into each other that, even without the poem, tell their own story. The, sometimes, uncomfortable truth that life is built on death, and that one day new life will be built on our deaths is told in natural and beautiful fashion. This is a tiny book that has a lot of good feelings wrapped up in it. it's an artsy book about natural cycles - water to clouds to rain, seeds to trees with falling leaves and more seeds. the pages are beautiful paper, the illustrations are made up of gorgeous stamps unfurling across each page, and the cycles of life and death are reassuring. remember, this too shall pass.
