Shelves: favorites
I first read this book 30 some odd years ago as part of a university class. Growing up 20 minutes from where this novel is set I remember the feeling that I could reach out and touch the place that is Manitoba's Interlake and talk to the people that inhabit it. Read it again about 15 years ago and now trying to get my wife and 16 year old daughter to read it. A coming of age story that I encourage all to read, one of my favorite books of all time.
