This book is a quick read as it's not long chapters or even long paragraphs, but small snippets of information, and some parts in question and answer form.

The historical information is fascinating, as watching westerns and reading about westward expansion one really doesn't comprehend the hardship and loss of life- both livestock and humans in exploring and traveling through our pre-settled country.
