4 1/2 Strong Stars ~~~ This story packs a lot in a few pages. Lots of history, lots of furry and lots of Alpha Werewolf. I would have loved for it to be longer to help me see more of what happened in the past, but other than's all good. The first of Karen Michelle Nutt's books for me, but certainly not the last! I do hope she has longer stories for me to 'sink my teeth in' Pun Intended!
I really enjoyed this book. It was a really short story but it was fast past from begining to end. The characters were great and had great chemistry.
This is one of only a few werewolf books I've read. I don't actively seek them out. In spite of it not being a favorite genre, I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

I'm no expert on Shifter stories, but I enjoyed reading this novella. It's easy to identify with the problems Grayson faces, his innate honour coming to the fore as he protects the one he loves. I don't find Sydney quite so likeable, though she's coming to terms with what fate has thrown at her. If you're looking for something to read during a short journey I can recommend Moonshifter.
