Here's the honest truth about this series: the writing is amateurish (and at times simply AWFUL), the characters are essentially one-dimensional, the plot is the epitome of formulaic... it's predictable, unoriginal, hokey and juvenile. And I positively couldn't put it down. I LOVED it--it does for women what porn does for men. But why is everyone in love with Edward??? Jacob could have me any day. Wow... I'm so embarrassed. ADMIT IT!!! YOU LOVED IT, TOO!!!!!!! Liar.

OK all these books are good, but extremely frustrating at the same time.... He's like 150years old and has never had sex?!! Drives me crazy!! Just do it already!!! BY the end of the third one I'm so angry I can't see straight. The author does a really great job getting you to keep turning the pages, and just when you think there's gonna be awesome sex...None!! Oh the morals you can learn from this book. Maybe Bella wouldn't be so sad all the time if her cold, bloodsucking, boyfriend wasn'...more

ok, i don't necessarily recommend the audio pack and breaking dawn isn't even out until august, but this is the only thing that came up when i typed in new moon. I really liked new moon, but it was probably my least favorite in the series. The first half isn't as exciting as the second, plus I was slightly annoyed by a certain character...for those who've read it you know who I mean. Eclipse was really good, I loved it. I think the character's personality's were hiliarious. Of course I was ...more

So I jumped on the bandwagon last summer and read the first 3 books in a few weeks. I can't believe how much I really enjoyed them. First of all, I was really fascinated with the fact that a mother of 3 with a similar background as my own actually came up with this story and the other things is that I guess I was interested in the passion that Edward has for Bella and secretly wish someone loved me that much? I don't know. It was an interesting ride and I am glad I read the books. My mother...more

This book was by far the best book i have ever read. Usually i dont find any interest in reading, but when i started Twilight i couldn't put it down. Ever since i read the Twilight series i've started reading on a regular basis. Even though i've read all the Twilight books i know that i will continue reading them over and over again and never get tired of them. I've told all of my friends about this book and they have read it and enjoyed it just as much as i did.

LUVED IT! The characters were reall to me. Parts of the books were hard to read due to the emotional rollercoasters, but "c'est la vie." I recommend these books but bare in mind that they are very sensual even though there is no sex. They are also addicting so be prepared to do nothing but read from the moment you pick up the first book till you close the last book. (Confession: I've read them through twice except for parts of book two that were too gut renching to revisit.)

While the books are absolutely fabulous - the narrator in this is not my favorite. I read the books first and then listened to them and I didn't like the way she interpreted the voices. She made the main character Bella sound much more whiny then I think she is meant to be and Edward much more depressed than I think he is. BUT the books are FABULOUS - so if you're looking for an alternative to reading them - or you just want to hear them again this is not a bad option.

Ok, ok I know that this series is popular and it has a right to be! I don't know why, but I have found myself reading them all again and again. ok so only 3 times but I know that I have to read them all again when the 4th comes out. Love the romance, the thriller in it. I am NOT a vampire book person, but this is more then that. It is probably what all most of us girls can relate in someway or another on what we went thru in high school. Love and recommend.

Vampire’s, Werewolf’s, and one average girl’s life’s all come together in the series by Stephenie Meyer. Bella is just a typical teenager until she falls in love with a vampire name Edward. Their lives are filled with excitement due to Bella’s odd attraction to danger. Life becomes even more interesting after her best friend turns out to be a werewolf. These books are filled with love and adventure that everyone can relate to.

I loved all three books!
I wouldn't recommend these books to your husband. Even though mine made fun of them the whole time I was reading them, and when he was read the first one. Until he got to the final chapters of twilight and couln't put it down. I'm not sure yet if he will read the rest.
I am very excited for Stephenie's new book The Host to come out next month. I am going to the signing March 17th! Yeah!

I am in LOVE!!!! with this book. I would be a mix between Alice and Bella. It almost scared me how much i am like those two characters. They're coming out w/ a movie but i saw the pics of the actors and they're nothing like i imagined the characters. THIS BOOK IS THE BEST BOOK YOU WILL EVER READ! I CAN"T WAIT FOR BREAKING DAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a totally amazing debut! Twilight is that rare story that combines suspense, desire, love and friendship with an awesome twist on the vampire genre! Both young adults and adults will be "sucked" into Edward's and Bella's world and beg for more, especially after they turn the last page. I can't wait for the next book!

I read all three in the series, like every other female in the Northern Hemisphere, and loved all three. I can't wait till the new book, or the movie. Bella's dependence on Edward is a little bit disturbing, and unhealthy, though, and a bit like a drug. You just can't get enough of it.

This book wasn't as exciting as the first< "Twilight", and left many issues layed out on the table. I hope the next one in the series will pick up some of the loose ends and fill in those missing gaps. I still like it, even though I would never watch a movie about vampires!
