This book went back to the library yesterday, unfinished.
I only had 100 pages left, but was unmotivated to finish.
My conclusion is that Mr. Friedman had a very poor editor on this book.
He's an ok writer and his editor just never got his manuscript into shape.
He would spend paragraphs on a subject and then say "yah, but these prominent lightning researchers don't really think that's important".
Leaving me wondering why he included it, which just ...more
