This was one of my first books that helped me to choose counselling/psychotherapy as a career. Here I am many years later working in the community busy with helping others make helpful changes in their lives. Some readers complaint about the poor grammar but I did not notice that...partly because I also have poor grammar. But it does not change that fact that some parts in this book was an eye opener for me at the time when I was reading this book with an English Dictionary in my other hand

أول كتاب في علم النفس أقرأه باللغة الانجليزية وهو بعنوان (علم نفس اللاسواء) أو كما يترجمه علماء النفس العرب (علم نفس الشواذ) ولم أكن أعرف أهمية المؤلف وعن مفاهيمه التي جاءت من تجارب علمية كالعجز المتعلم والتفاؤل المتعلم وغيرها وتأسيسة لاحقاً لما يسمى علم النفس الايجابي وهو عكس موضوع الكتاب

This is the WORST textbook I have ever read. Unorganized and full of GRAMMAR ERRORS WTF, don't these people pay proofreaders?

This was a great textbook that we had in class. It was so good in fact that I found myself reading it outside of class.
