3.5 stars. The first half was very slow going. The pace picked up in the second half and, as usual in the books of this era, the HEA happened very quickly in the last few pages.

This book was okay read,found a little boring cause the only issue between these 2 were they choose not to come out n talk abt their actual feelings for each other

oh my !!dat was an awful one ! very very awful. der was no chemistry, no love, no affection..nthng !! after 2 weeks of honeymoon which r not even described but we know hero was distant, stupid lissa had fallen in love ! jarret was cold n showed no feeling

Margery Hilton and her husband worked in the theater and in wasn't until she had to retire from her job due to a back injury, which also prevented her from doing any housework. So she had time to settle down to serious writing.
