Recommends it for: parents reading with their children
This is a fun, although altogether unrealistic depiction of a birthday party for a pet. I enjoy reading the stories in the Eloise series to our children, but it makes me sad to see this little girl growing up the way she does, surrounded by luxury and excess, but not her parents.
