Great concept, great setting for an RPG game. The book itself varies in quality from story to story. Some were very good, and others not so much. I like how the stories reflect and comment on history (American history, mainly), but at the same time I find it hard to believe that so much would still be the same in the book's universe. All in all an enjoyable read, and I may end up reading some of the subsequent books.
