This was an enjoyable set of stories. There was significant crossover with "Mummy!" which was edited by Bill Pronzini. Most of the stories had a tie to Egypt in one way or another (as opposed to mummies from other cultures). This came out around the time Anne Rice's "The Mummy" was originally published, because I remember the display featuring both books together! It's certainly worth reading for people who are interested in mummy horror stories.
