We get a lot of back-story in this volume. I was surprised to learn that the Night Class has been included at Cross Academy for only about 2 or 3 years--I had assumed that it was a long-standing tradition. It's disturbing how much I enjoy reading these books!
The drama of helping to keep peace at a school that has a regular human class (who don't know that vampires exist) and a vampire class (who would not mind drinking human blood) is remarkably entertaining!

This one is more informative. You learn more about Yuuki and Kaname. You get to see Zero kill his first vampire and you meet a new character. Very interesting volume.

The characters in this series continue to angst very prettily. Alas, I suspect the new character introduced at the end of this volume will annoy me mightily.

This volume was slightly boring. It showed a lot of backgrounds and memories, which is important, of course. It was alright.

Another good volume in the series, but I'm waiting for the plot to speed up.
