I loved Anne Of Green Gables not only because it's a Canadian classic but its quite funny. When I was younger, I was a fan of the animated series that used to play on TV, so as a Teenager, I loved reading this book. I loved that Anne was quite talkactive and that some pages were just some of her dialogue. Reading it made me happy and I loved it from start to finnish and I loved how Anne just kept getting into trouble and she reminds me of myself when I was younger because of her almost dramatic ...more
I knew about this book for the first time when I was eleven or twelve. Of course I read it in Japanese then. It was written and edited for kids. I noticed that many stories are deleted. This is what classics are made of! I fell in love with Anne like almost all of Green Gables except Josie Pye. I loved the purity and determination of her heart and also the profound things she said in between her chatterings. There is much that we can learn from her attitude, her choices and her growth. I'm glad I made the time to read this book!
AOGG is a classic. This book is wonderful and the pictures are an added bonus. While I was reading this book, the AOGG movie starring Megan Follows was playing in my head. =) I love Anne!
This is the best book I've ever read!I love all of the characters! You must read this book!

This is one of my favorite movies made from a book series. The actors are so charming!
I don't think I had every read this classic before. I loved it.
