I loved Anne Of Green Gables not only because it's a Canadian classic but its quite funny. When I was younger, I was a fan of the animated series that used to play on TV, so as a Teenager, I loved reading this book. I loved that Anne was quite talkactive and that some pages were just some of her dialogue. I loved the Anne books in my youth. I also loved the first two Kevin Sullivan movies that are partly based on some of the books. This one is a combination of the first book and the first movie. My only complaint is not enough photos from the movie are in it.

This is what classics are made of! I fell in love with Anne like almost all of Green Gables except Josie Pye. I loved the purity and determination of her heart and also the profound things she said in between her chatterings. There is much that we can learn from her attitude, her choices and her growth. I'm glad I made the time to read this book!
