I picked this up ages ago for the Konwicki criticism, of which there's far too little around in general for such a key writer. But then I held off on actually reading until I'd read more Angela Carter, who proves an arbitrary, but equally notable, companion here. Useful! Not all of it, of course, and I've had to skip over some bits on boos I've yet to read, but on the whole a handy set of perspectives. Plus the reviews in the back give a cross-section of the creme of a largely now forgotten 1994 ...more
