"A Lover's Kiss" is a Harlequin Regency romance by Margaret Moore that is connected to "Kiss Me Quick" and "Kiss Me Again". This time our hero is the famed barrister Sir Douglas Drury. Drury was betrayed and tortured during the war and therefore has a passionate hatred of the French. This was a short one... I can't remember the other stories in this series... sorry to say but it was just ok. I didn't mind the h/h but I don't know... something just wasnt' there

This book might have been less confusing if I had read the two previous books in the series first. The hero was a one time spy for the government during the war. His encounters with his fellow spies were sometimes confusing.
Other than that, it was a basic Regency period novel. The hero was a lawyer, which was ineresting.

lovely book to read. very easy and lovely set out to it. good characters with an interesting background and the two together makes a lovely combination of stubborn pride and longing for something.
